Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film generally within the martial arts or horror genre a roughly similar beat that of The Cinema Snob but tending toward action films that are dumb and boring, as well as a morbid enjoyment of the genre. She began her reviews in the latter half of 2009, and when she began to gain some recognition (under the old name Obscurus-Lupa) Allison Pregler was part of the family at Channel Awesome. She was on the website until mid-2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was retooled into Movie Nights. She currently hosts two podcasts: one covering the Charmed Franchise and another co-hosted with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She's appeared in countless Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She as well as Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently be featured in shows like Nostalgia Critic.
